Galileo - The next generation of fuel cell system
The new fuel cell system Galileo of Sulzer Hexis is launched at the Hannover Fair 2005. Sulzer Hexis is delivering the first pre-series systems HXS 1000 PREMIERE which operate on natural gas since December 2001. In parallel, a new system generation called Galileo has been developed. The new system Galileo is smaller, lighter, more cost efficient and easier to operate compared to predecessor HXS 1000 PREMIERE.
Sulzer Hexis has received CE certification from GASTEC Certification BV in the Netherlands for its Galileo fuel cell system, which means that Galileo systems can operate in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.This certification is an important step on the road to commercializing fuel cell heating units for single-family residences and duplexes.
